Mom is starting this blog for you because she wants you to always remember how much she loves being your mom and what a blessing you are in my life. I hope that you will always cherish the memories we have made together because I sure know that I will. Always know that dad and I love you more than you will ever know and we always will. We are trying so hard to make sure we are an eternal family and we are so thankful that you are the special children that Heavenly Father blessed us with as our children.

It is the beginning of a new year for our little family -2010. We are a complete little family now. When Sophie was born dad and I decided that our little family was complete and hopefully getting our family life back to "normal." Well as normal as you can get with us as your parents. Your dad works so hard everyday teaching school-he is teaching 2nd grade this year and he loves it. And from what I am told he is an amazing teacher and loves what he does. He thinks spending time with you is great and loves you all so much. I am going back to work as a labor and delivery nurse. I have been blessed to be able to work part-time so we can be together as a family more. I work nights and you kids hang out with dad while I am gone. It works great for us.

Carter, you just turned 3. We can hardly believe that it has been 3 years since you joined our little family. What a blessing it is to have you as our son. You are the sweetest and most loving boy that we know. We love your sense of humor and your quirky little things. You love to figure out how things work and are always asking questions. You are cuddly and we frequently find you sleeping between the two of us in our bed at night. You love to suck on the 2 middle fingers of your left hand and as much as it is killing your teeth, I don't know if I want you to stop because it is so cute. You are potty trained and we are so proud of you for that. You love to sing your ABCs, Jingle Balls, and Twinkle Twinkle little star. You hardly ever stop talking and we wouldn't have it any other way. Your favorite animal is a buffalo and you love to go to Yellowstone to see the mommy, daddy, and baby uppalos. You are such a great big brother and I am so proud of how well you take care of your sisters. You will always be my little man. I hope that we will always be close and that you know you can always come to me when you need me. Never stop being the sweet boy that you are. We love you so much!!!!

Audrey, you are our first little princess and a little spit fire as well. You were born with an attitude and we love it. One of the first things you learned to do was roll your eyes at your daddy. You still do it but have now started rolling your eyes at me. You are Carter's best friend and it is amazing the things you can get into. You are growing up to fast. You eat at a booster seat, you are almost potty trained and you talk more than any other little 2 year old that I know. Don't tell Carter, but you can sing Twinkle Twinkle a little better than he can :) You have the cutest curly hair in the world and if I am not careful, you look like you have a blonde afro. We love it. You are definitely a daddy's girl-he is the only one that you will let hold you to put you to sleep. You love him so much and I always hope it will be that way. You are going to be a great little mommy some day. You love to play with your dolls when I am taking care of Sophie and you do such a good job. You will always be our big princess . We love you so much!!!

Sophie, you are 2 months old. We can already tell so much about you. How anxious you were to start your earthly journey. You joined us 7 weeks early and amazed us by only having to be in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks. You are already smiling and I can tell you are going to be a daddy's girl because he gets the best and biggest smiles ;). You are so cuddly and cute and we love you so much. I know that as you grow up that you will give Carter and Audrey a run for their money. Thank you for coming to join our family.

I am so glad that I get to be a mom to the three of you. There is no greater blessing in my life besides the three of you (except for your dad). The whole purpose of my life is so that I can raise my kids to be happy, independent, and have a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Family is so important. I know that we can all work together to make sure we are an eternal one. I know that I will make my fair share of mistakes along the way and their will probably be days where you don't like me very much (like when I try and cut your toenails) but I will always love you and will always be there for you. Thanks for being mine and thanks for loving me.

Love always,
Mommy
